Patrick Grasso

Pat has an important role in all aspects of the investment process at Affinia. His responsibilities include providing the advisors with research and analysis of portfolio positions, and the implementation of investment decisions.

Pat works with the advisors to maintain the client portfolios by rebalancing accounts to align with client objectives, assist them in evaluating current positions from a tax perspective, and provide advisors with recommendations for changes. He supports the advisors in overseeing account cash management to assure each client’s cash flow needs are met. Pat also oversees the implementation of compliance procedures relating to the investment team and performing and maintaining due diligence files on all portfolio holdings.

Pat sets the agenda for and conducts Affinia’s weekly internal Investment Committee meeting. He presents a weekly review of the markets and highlights trends or events having a potential impact on Affinia’s investment outlook.

Pat holds an MBA from the Villanova Business School at Villanova University and a BSc degree in Marketing from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to joining Affinia in 2019, he was an analyst at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs company from 2014-2019, and a Portfolio administrator at State Street from 2012-2014.

Pat is a proud native of upstate NY and enjoys all outdoor pursuits. A college rower, and avid skier, he also holds the distinction of being the youngest competitor to enter and complete the 2008 Ironman triathlon.

Fun fact: He is adventurous, traditional, and methodical all at the same time. For Pat, Bow-Tie Thursday is not pasta night, it’s an option from his day-of-the-week neckwear collection.
